From the initial concept and material selection through to the final finish, every piece is built with meticulous attention to detail, premium materials, and traditional craftsmanship, creating furniture that is made to be used, admired, and passed down for generations.

Custom Commissions

Our Process

  • 1. Initial Consultation

    Every project begins with a conversation. We’ll discuss your ideas, how the piece will be used, dimensions, style preferences, budget, and timeframe. Whether you have detailed plans or just an idea, this stage helps establish the direction of the project.

  • 2. Design & Quotation

    Using the information gathered, concept sketches or 3D drawings are developed where required, along with material selections and finish options. Once the design is finalised, you’ll receive a detailed quotation outlining the scope of work, pricing, and estimated timeline.

  • 3. Approval & Deposit

    Once you’re happy with the design and quotation, a deposit secures your place in the workshop schedule. Material procurement and detailed planning begin at this stage.

  • 4. Craftsmanship

    Your piece is handcrafted in our South Coast workshop using carefully selected materials and traditional woodworking techniques, combined with modern machinery where it improves precision and efficiency. Throughout the build, you’ll receive progress updates so you can follow your commission as it comes to life.

  • 5. Finishing

    Every piece is carefully sanded, finished, and inspected to ensure it meets the highest standards of craftsmanship before leaving the workshop.

  • 6. Delivery & Installation

    Completed commissions can be collected, delivered, or professionally installed where required. Care instructions are also provided so your furniture can be enjoyed for generations.
